Feluccas on the Nile, Egypt 1996

The Hamsun wind was blowing in off the Sahara, and the temperature was in the 50s as I photographed these feluccas with my Leica M6 with a long lens. It is one of my favourite images that combines my two passions, sailing and travel. I toned the image with potassium ferricyanide in my darkroom.
