The Bust of Tutankhamun, Egypt 1996

I photographed Tutankhamun’s gold mask in the Cairo Museum. It was hugely exciting to stand before it. As it was in such a sterile environment, I sought a temple to photograph a background more fitting for an Egyptian Pharaoh.
