Sailed by Roger Hickman who was a veteran of 39 Hobarts. He won the race three times. Roger’s father, Jim Hickman, sailed with my father, Reg Bennett, at the Huon Yacht Club in Jims’ boat Bronzewing.

We were flying directly into wind, which meant we could fly a little slower, so that enabled the use of a wide-angle lens.
